A sequel to developer Teyon’s 2023 first person shooter title “RoboCop: Rogue City” is set to launch this Summer. Titled “RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business,” the game will hit PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

The first game featured an original storyline based on the Paul Verhoeven-directed 1987 film. In Old Detroit, you play as RoboCop as the machine must clear the city of criminals, conduct investigations, and issue both criminal and traffic citations.

Set within the franchise canon, events take place after “Robocop 2” but before the third with Anne Lewis as RoboCop’s partner who accompanies the player. Peter Weller reprises his voice role for the game.

The game scored quite good reviews, including a 76/100 on Metacritic with the title hailed for its authenticity. The sequel will be is set in OmniTower, a large housing complex created by OCP to provide for the needs of the residents of Old Detroit.

When a group of highly trained mercenaries armed with cutting-edge weapons takes control of the building and turns it into their deadly fortress, RoboCop must take action and put a stop to their plans to undermine law and order. In other words “RoboCop” meets “The Raid”/”Dredd”.

Players will deal with hi-tech threats in OmniTower, including anti-personnel turrets, flying drones, deadly traps and heavily armed elite troops. The baddies you face can sport miniguns, jetpacks and even katana-wielding robots.

The project is dubbed both a ‘standalone follow-up’ and ‘standalone expansion’ so will likely be a shorter, simpler game than the first.
